Changing Text Size

Choose from the following Windows web browsers for step-by-step instructions on how to increase the size of the text on any web page on this site that you are viewing:

Internet Explorer 7 or 8

  1. Open the ' View ' menu with the mouse or by pressing ' Alt'+'P ' .
  2. Select the ' Text Size ' option with the mouse or by pressing ' X '.
  3. Choose your preferred text size by clicking on it or by using the up and down arrow keys to select it and then press 'Enter'.

Firefox 2 or 3

  1. Open the ' View ' menu with the mouse or by press ' Alt ' and ' V ' at the same time.
  2. Select the ' Text Size ' option with the mouse or by pressing 'Z' .
  3. Increase or decrease the text size with the mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys and pressing ' Enter '.
  4. Alternatively you can press ' Ctrl ' and ' + ' to increase the text size, ' Ctrl ' and ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and ' 0 ' returns you to the default 'normal' size.

Apple Safari

  1. Open the ' View ' menu with the mouse or by press ' Alt ' and ' V ' at the same time.
  2. Select the ' Text Size ' option with the mouse or by pressing the cursor (arrow) keys.
    1. Increase the text sixe by selecting "Make Text Bigger.
    2. Decrease the text sixe by selecting "Make Text Smaller .
    3. Change the text size back to normal size by selecting "Make Text Normal Size"
  3. Alternatively you can press ' Ctrl ' and ' + ' to increase the text size, ' Ctrl ' and ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and ' 0 ' returns you to the default 'normal' size.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the Page menu, point to Text zoom and then select the required text size.
  2. Alternatively you can press ' Ctrl ' and ' + ' to increase the text size, ' Ctrl ' and ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and ' 0 ' returns you to the default 'normal' size.
